After spending months preparing, the top eight teams have earned their chance to compete against the best and brightest in the 2023 Financial Planning Challenge (www.OneFPA.org/FPC). This competition, jointly sponsored by Ameriprise, CFP Board and FPA, is designed exclusively for college and university finance undergraduate degree programs registered with CFP Board, or related fields of study, through a three-stage competition modeled after CFP Board’s Financial Plan Development (Capstone) Course requirement.
In Phase 3, each team will compete in this game-show-style challenge. This phase will test their knowledge of comprehensive financial planning across the seven disciplines. Each team will be presented with questions based on relevant financial planning topics similar to the CFP® exam.
