Cynthia A. Hanson, CFP®, ChFC®, CDFA® is Director of Financial Planning and Business Unit Compliance Liaison for the National Sales Organization at Ameriprise Financial in Minneapolis. She is a member of the FPA Pro Bono Advisory Committee and began serving as chair of that group in 2023.

Hanson has been with Ameriprise since 1995. She is an active volunteer in her community, serving as a Money Mentor and tax preparer with Prepare+Prosper, helping individuals and families prepare for their financial future. She holds a B.A. from Macalester College and a M.A. from University of Arizona.
